About the role:


IT Recruitment Consultant will specialize in sourcing and placing top IT professionals in contract positions across various industries. This role requires an understanding of the IT landscape, contract staffing needs, and the ability to build relationships with both clients and candidates.


Location: Hybrid, Dublin office 3 days a week


Your responsibilities:

  • Understand and gather client requirements for IT contract roles
  • Source, screen, and shortlist potential IT candidates using job boards, networking, referrals, and other creative methods
  • Conduct interviews, either in person or virtually, to assess candidate suitability
  • Coordinate client interviews and provide feedback to candidates
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and candidates, ensuring alignment with both parties' expectations
  • Maintain a pipeline of active and passive IT professionals suitable for contract roles
  • Provide market insights and advice to clients regarding contract hiring trends, contract rate benchmarks, and skill availability
  • Build and nurture relationships with both clients and IT professionals to ensure repeat business and referrals
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in IT recruitment
  • Meet and exceed KPIs and recruitment targets


Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, IT, or related fields
  • 3 years of experience in IT recruitment in contract staffing
  • Strong knowledge of IT roles, technical jargon, and the IT contract landscape
  • Proven track record of filling IT contract roles in a timely manner
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong networking abilities
  • Results-driven and motivated by targets
