Zurich Insurance Plc are currently seeking to hire a Data Solutions Delivery Lead.

Zurich IT Department is currently divided between two locations in Dublin (Blackrock & Wexford).

IT works closely with local Business Change, local subject matter experts and key 3rd parties to deliver and manage IT solutions that support the business strategy of Zurich Ireland.

Your Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the IT Department with responsibilities including:

• Design and development of tool and solutions to meet customer needs and address business problems.
• Key contributor to data solutions strategy
• Lead on data solutions roadmap and ensure that all solutions delivered align with a wider the data solutions strategy
• Lead a small team of data solutions delivery professionals
• Responsible for the quality of master data in key systems and ensure that data models and mapping are documented appropriately
  

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Working on cross functional project team implement complex business solution
• Lead on decision making on the design of solutions to support the Program delivery
• Upskilling of & supporting existing team members
• Tracking, control and resolution of data solution issues and queries.
• Ensure consistent delivery of quality master data for consumption by stakeholders across the business
  

Additional Job Functions:

• Builds good working relationships with Enterprise Solutions Lead, Enterprise Architect, Team members within IT Department and Project Management.
• Work closely with Management Information & Data Services Team, Actuarial, Finance and other relevant stakeholders across our business
• Ability to help keep team motivated in high pressure situations.
• Responds maturely to ambiguity and complexity.
  

Your Skills & Experience

As a Data Solutions Delivery Lead your skills and qualifications will include:

Languages: 

• MS SQL Server
  

Technologies: 

• Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent
• SAS knowledge advantageous
• Qlik Replicate & Compose advantages
• Sequel Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• JSON, XML,
• Methodologies:  Agile, Waterfall
• Database:  SQL Server 2012, 2016, 2019
• DevOps Tools:  Bit Bucket, Confluence, Jira, Bamboo

Additional Information

Primary work location is Blackrock based but occasional travel may be required to other Zurich locations.
