Team Manager:

• Provide positive and safe environment for the team;
• Fulfill management responsibilities, in-line with HR process calendar;
• Career path rollout, monitoring and support team further development, align with individual career aspiration process;
• Monitor team wellbeing and flag any issues;
• Forecast and allocation of his team resources to PL Safety (FuSa/SOTIF) projects, regular status tracking and report versus project contract baseline;

Support Product Line (PL) Functional Safety Engineering Discipline Manager to:

• define and rollout training & succession plans for the team;
• define and rollout safety (FuSa / SOTIF) reviewers certification plans for the team;
• regularly evaluate and confirm for team technical and soft skills competences;
• optimum overall PL Safety (FuSa / SOTIF) resources allocation, cross all Regional Operations (ROs);
• monitor and report Safety (FuSa/SOTIF) projects status, as per defined PL & organization processes;
• check and ensure adherence to defined development process (including safety methodology), activity delivery on time per project, 'customer first' attitude in the team;
• manage PL quotation phase process for new projects, in respect to Safety (FuSa / SOTIF) scope;
• build and maintain relationship with all PL ROs and interface to Group Technical Service Centers (GTSCs);
• define / review PL overall Safety (FuSa/SOTIF) footprint strategy, part of overall PL plan;
• contribute in the product development process, by creating / reviewing appropriate work products that meet the requirements of the relevant safety (FuSa / SOTIF) standards;
• Communicate / review / present with customers/suppliers;
• Prepare / assist / perform safety (FuSa / SOTIF) work products reviews, internal and with customers/suppliers;
• Prepare / assist project FuSa Assessment Reviews, held by FuSa assessor(s);
• Liaise with other PL / organization disciplines / functions, in respect to FuSa scope, including escalation;

General

• Enforces / review the application of FuSa / SOTIF Standards in Valeo;
• Ensure / review the compliance of projects to ISO26262/ISO21448 and other applicable Standards;
• Active participation to the Functional Safety / SOTIF process continuous improvement;
• Active role in Valeo Safety Culture deployment/continuous improvement;
