Role: Workforce Planning Lead
Location: Dublin / Hybrid
Our client is looking for a strategic and dynamic Workforce Planning Lead to join their large organisation. The successful candidate will bring experience from a large organisation and will have proven experience in successfully conceiving and executing a strategic workforce planning model. You will develop the framework and methodology and continuously provide insight and consultancy on workforce shape and organisational effectiveness. You will then lead out the implementation of the strategic workforce planning approach, in collaboration with HR and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the business strategy, the current capability and capacity.
- Advise the business on best practices for optimising talent and capability and aligning their people strategy to that of their Business.
- Utilise analytics and benchmarking to identify gaps and develop innovative short, medium, and long-term strategies to close gaps.
- Deliver solutions, implement change programmes based on data, trends, gap analysis.
- Collaborate closely with the HR team to drive the promotion of HR's value and connection across the Group and consistent development and management of people strategies.
- Act as a valued member of the wider HR team, driving the Customer First culture in support of our purpose, strategic ambition, and Values.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Human Resources and Strategic Workforce Planning experience.
- Experience in developing and implementing a Strategic workforce plan for the first time in a large organisation.
- Experience of the latest forecasting tools, trends and methodologies, capability planning, talent acquisition and talent development.
- Experience leading change initiatives and HR solutions and understanding core HR processes and services.
- Ability to understand the business strategy, translate it into capability and capacity requirements and develop innovative short, medium, and long-term strategies to close capability or capacity gaps to meet the future needs of the Business.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork and relationship building skills.
