We are looking for a Business Analyst Reporting professional for a Global Asset Management company located in Madrid.
Mission Of The Area Where The Position Exists
The “Investments accounting and reporting” team is part of the Operations Asset Management Department which is responsible for the operationalization of the Organization strategic ambitions, the continuous development of an innovative operating model and achieving a high level of efficiency in the processes. In addition, the department is also responsible for the integration of suitable compliance and risk management frameworks, monitoring the regulatory landscape and supporting in legal matters. Within the “Investments accounting and reporting” team, the main mission is to provide high quality of investments data and to prepare regulatory, management and third-party reports of all the Group companies on behalf of the rest of the Asset Management division and Organization as well as third parties.
Define reporting requirements and articulate reporting solutions
Monitor and control technical interfaces within Asset Management and finance systems
Manage investment reporting processes running across the interfaces
Conduct analyses on reporting requirements and support the build of Proof of Concepts within Asset Management
Maintain and improve business documentation of reporting requirements
Create, maintain, and improve regular reports according to IFRS and local GAAP standards from a regulatory and performance perspective
Training, competences, profile skills of the candidates
Master’s degree in business informatics or economics with a high affinity for IT
Analytical and results oriented
Strong experience in business and finance reporting
Self-starter mentality with high level of communication and presentation skills
Innovative in finding solutions to challenges
Experience In Business Requirements Engineering
Languages: Strong English skills, German would be an advantage
Very good MS Office skills especially Excel
Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in business support or as a business analyst
Strong knowledge in business warehouse tools and SAP applications
At least 3 years’ experience in finance with experience in Asset Management an advantage
Experience with BlackRock Aladdin would be an advantage
Responsibilities/Main Functions
Drive business analysis to identify, collect and create business requirements
Assist in the analysis and design of new business processes/reporting requirements by collecting requirements, information, and user stories to ensure proper documentation
Monitor, control and improve technical interfaces within Asset Management and finance systems in collaboration with IT
Elaborate regulatory, management and third-party reports
Provide business definitions for the design of automated interfaces to replace manual interfaces
Provide support in the design of future data models with Blackrock Aladdin, data warehouse and data hubs.
Support the visualization of reports in SAP Analytics or Power BI in collaboration with the team that manages the investment management platform (- IMP)
Create and further develop monthly reports and ensure the correct level of data quality
Manage the process to measure the level of data quality
Support ad hoc analytical and reporting requests
Support Asset Management projects
