Head of Branch Procurement will be responsible for establishing a consistent procurement capability in all Allianz Technology branches in coordination with Allianz Technology Retained Procurement, Global Sourcing and Procurement and Allianz Technology Branches.

The role will be responsible for implementing global procurement category strategies defined for Allianz group and Allianz Technology ensuring that necessary capacity and skills exist in the branches. The role also requires to ensure adherence to standardized processes and tools aligned with Global Sourcing & Procurement as well as AZ Technology Retained Procurement. The role requires close collaboration with Global Sourcing and Procurement, Operational Procurement teams in Allianz Services, internal customers (requesters), Branches, Finance Functions (Controlling, Accounting, Tax, Risk, Legal, Compliance), Regional CFOs and CTOs.

You will

• Ensure global procurement category strategies are implemented in the branches
• Ensure relevant procurement capacity and skills are existing or developed at the branches
• Ensure adequate staffing and efficiency measures by building and maintaining global/regional capabilities for strategic procurement and category articulation in line with Global IT Procurement operating model .
• Coordinate resources in the branches through a functional structure to be built and maintained for benefiting from the global setup
• Contribute to the implementation and roll out of the standardized process & tools in Allianz Technology branches.
• Act as escalation body for the topics coming from the branches
• Ensuring regulatory relevant control framework and compliance for Procurement activities (e.g. Risk Management , Compliance, P&R) in the branches
  
  

Your Skills

• Relevant Procurement experience mainly matured in IT categories (software, hardware, telcos, IT professional services, etc)
• Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize distributed team performance and development
• Relevant managerial experience matured in an international context and in financial institutions
• Relevant experience in performing business transformation programs across distributed functions/teams.
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage and manage key stakeholders within Allianz Technology and Allianz SE
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Excellent analytical, financial, negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities
• Results oriented with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
