Strategy & Product Development Analyst – Product & Markets (Openbank)

We are the 100% digital bank of the Santander Group and we are currently undergoing a technological transformation and international expansion process. In 2019, we launched in the Netherlands, Germany and Portugal, recently followed by Argentina, with other countries currently in the pipeline.

Mission and responsibilities:
As a Strategy & Product Development Analyst, you will increase and manage liabilities balance, and work in the overall Openbank's strategy.

The main tasks of this position will be the following:
1. SUPPORT OVERALL PRODUCT STRATEGY

Develop and launch new products in the 4 countries: Spain, Germany, The Netherlands and Portugal.
Support in analysis of Openbank’s products to identify opportunities and complete value proposition.
Contribute to the execution of the defined strategy, detect and enable new business opportunities across markets.
Support in the elaboration of documentation for the Governance bodies (Boards, Management Committees, etc.).

2. INCREASE AND MANAGE LIABILITIES BALANCE:
Periodic monitoring of sales results, with focus on input KPIs, e.g. funnel, conversion rates, campaigns, etc., differentiating by channel, both internal (app, web and contact center) and external (SEM, SEO, aggregators, display, etc.).
Launch or improve new products to achieve annual and monthly liabilities goals, drafting business cases and aligning with rest of the areas, e.g. finance, commercial, etc.
Propose new business opportunities: campaigns, e.g. targeted to niche propensity segments; change in product characteristics, eg. price or new products that cover unresolved customer needs.
Monitor liabilities’s competitors (financial and non-financial players), voice of the customers (via app rating, social network comments and contact center feedback) and post-mortem campaigns’ analysis, e.g. customer behavior monitoring after end-campaigns to ensure initiatives are in line to provide positive client experience.

To be successful in the role you must have

+1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
University or master’s degree in Business administration or engineering.
Analytical capabilities.
Good communication skills both written and oral.
Excellent Microsoft Office tools capabilities: Advanced Excel & Power point (Power BI and Access is a plus).
Attention to the detail.
Commercial profile.
High level of English.
