Associate Director – Online Programs

This is a key position on the Operations and Course Management team within the Digital Learning & Online Solutions unit of IE University. The Associate Director of Online Programs will oversee the delivery of various programs, both B2B and B2C, collaborating with internal departments as well as external corporate clients. This person will not only be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the program delivery, but will also be involved in innovation projects, maintaining our competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Responsible for the daily management of online program delivery, ensuring superior student experiences through program coordination and support.
  • Act as point of contact (in coordination and in constant communication) with the different external stakeholders (corporate clients) and other IE departments involved in the operations of the program (Faculty, Learning Facilitators, Instructional Designers, Corporate Relations, Finance, Control, Marketing, Admissions, among others).
  • Ensure a superior student experience before, during, and after the program and provide reliable support to professors and the teaching team in the teaching experience.
  • Measurement and tracking of student performance and achievements through Learning Analytics and reporting.
  • Manage a team of program coordinators in program operations and management, leading them in daily activities and short-and long-term innovation projects.
  • Participate in the development of innovative learning methodologies, application of learning analytics, AI tools, efficient assessments, and other EdTech tools. Participate in the selection, implementation and deployment of technological solutions and platforms for the programs in question.
  • Foster and nurture a community of practice with current and former participants in the programs, facilitating networking opportunities and authentic engagement beyond the course contents.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts for each program, extracting insights from Learning Analytics and survey results, creating a feedback loop to the design teams.
  • Co-design, implement and iterate the go-to-market strategies for the online programs in collaboration with other stakeholders involved in.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a program manager, program advisor and/or senior program coordinator. Experience running online or blended programs is very valuable.
  • Project management skills and experience, while leading and coordinating teams to efficiently execute project phases or tasks.
  • Extremely well-developed interpersonal skills, and the proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships and with a solid customer service focus,
  • High level of technological literacy, able to quickly adopt new technologies and create criteria for new platform, tool, or technology use.
  • Curious and entrepreneurial spirit, able to take initiative and lead new and innovative projects.
  • Great communication skills both oral and written, including delivering presentations to clients, demonstrating poise and professionalism.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Degree in Business, Education, or equivalent discipline and master program from a recognized university or business school.
