Your assignments:

• Consult and support the Finance organization in implementing and optimizing Controlling processes, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business requirements.
• Leadership of a team, including disciplinary leadership of team members and virtual international teams
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Controlling modules (CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-PA, EC-PCA, IM, ML) to map and streamline business processes in alignment with finance objectives.
• Provide expertise on best practices for SAP Controlling and S/4HANA to enhance efficiency, simplify processes, and support ongoing improvements in the Finance function.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance to define and translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring effective use of SAP and its integration with other systems.
• Support the optimization and automation of financial reporting processes by leveraging SAP S/4HANA capabilities, improving accuracy, speed, and decision-making insights.
• Ensure the proper governance and compliance of SAP Controlling processes, advising on standardization, process improvements, and alignment with corporate strategies.
• Lead testing, validation, and troubleshooting efforts for new SAP functionalities and enhancements, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption by the Finance team.
• Provide training and ongoing support to internal users, ensuring the Finance team is proficient in using S/4HANA for Controlling-related processes and reports.

Your profile:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Proven management competence and leadership skills
• Strong background in IT service management
• Prior experience within the Life Sciences domain
• SAP certification
• Experience in S/4 HANA implementation
• Expertise in managing geographically dispersed teams
• Experience in managing complex interdependencies across multiple workstreams and teams
• Deep understanding of integration points and dependencies between SAP modules and other enterprise systems
• Proven experience in internal and external supplier management
• Very good communication skills in English and German
