The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Accounts Payable Area Operations Leader, EMEA & APAC, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading and managing area AP and BPO operations
Leveraging AP end to end process knowledge to deliver operational excellence
Continuously monitoring day-to-day operations, metrics and SLA’s to ensure processes are in control and on-time and accurate payments are executed to vendors and suppliers
Serving as a subject matter expert to stakeholders and leadership in the area
Strong focus on compliance, controls, governance, and adherence to financial and legal requirements
Collaborating with stakeholders in Sourcing, Finance, Business Transformation and the BPO partner, to ensure AP process excellence
Representing the AP function in internal and external reviews, meetings and workshops
Active participation in ERP deployment activities to support transformation and ensure readiness of the AP process and team
Identifying and lead projects and process improvement initiatives that will deliver value to the company
Serving as a back-up for Global AP Leader and other AP process leaders as required
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
University degree in finance, accounting, administration, or similar subject
Proven finance experience, particular in Accounts Payable operations
Leading and managing a team
Collaborating and working with BPO / Shared Service organizations
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
AP process and operations knowledge and experience in SAP
End to end Source to Pay process understanding
Ability to lead and influence teams
Fluent in English
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Work location: Hybrid
