Finance and Project Controller (m/f/d) – EIT Manufacturing
Part-time position (20 hours/week) at EIT Manufacturing Central in Darmstadt, Germany
About the position:
In this position you will support our financial operations and project management activities. Responsibilities include assisting in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, monitoring project budgets, preparing financial reports, providing accurate financial information to project managers, conducting financial analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining ERP (Oracle Netsuite) systems and supporting internal and external audits. The ERP and reporting system are currently being implemented and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the setup of the system. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key accountabilities:
- Supporting our financial operations and project management activities
- Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Monitoring project budgets and preparing financial reports
- Providing accurate financial information to the leadership team
- Conducting financial analysis
- Preparation of internal and external audits
Qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree or equivalent with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- Practical experience in a relevant field
- Fluent in English and German
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics
Skills:
- Excellent organisational skills and focus to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
- Strong team spirit, proactiveness, autonomy and integrity
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus

Location:
The role location will be at EIT Manufacturing Central, in Darmstadt, Germany with some travel required across Europe. A hybrid working arrangement may be considered depending on the candidate. Regular presence in the offices in Darmstadt is required.
