ING Wholesale Banking Germany is the corporate banking segment of ING Germany. In our "Early Career Group" graduate program, you will delve deep into our daily business: Your homebase is in "Acquisition Finance" where you will build and expand your skills while developing both professionally and personally. Your Tasks
- Your journey begins in "Acquisition Finance" where you'll spend the first 12 months. Afterwards you rotate through different departments picking up a wide array of different skills and experiencing the best of all worlds.
- From day one, you are an integral part of the ECG and its concept, gradually immerse yourself in our day-to-day operations and soon work alongside our Senior Specialists resp. Originators in all aspects of structuring capital markets and other financing transactions.
- You learn from your experienced colleagues how we evaluate and structure LBO (and other) transactions and quickly take on your own responsibility, e.g. by preparing the financial modelling or performing company, industry and financial due diligence.
- Be it the preparation of marketing pitches and proposals for existing and new clients, or the preparation and efficient processing of internal credit applications: You take part in every aspect of our work and learn what suits you the best.
- Staying informed about current market developments, you prepare corresponding market updates and identify origination opportunities.
- Additionally, you assist in client negotiations around documentation and transaction management execution, actively cooperate with the portfolio team in managing the existing portfolio and ensure compliant record keeping.
- Throughout, your focus is always on the qualitative and ethical standards of ING, actively contributing to maintaining our impeccable reputation.
- Our common goal: to equip you with excellent expertise in 36 months so that you can decide which area within our CM&A teams suits you best.
Your Profile
- Successful Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or any other relevant field
- Initial experience in banking (as an analyst, working student or intern in a relevant area)
- Strong analytical skills paired with quality awareness
- Good presentation and communication skills, a hands-on mentality with effective process management skills, and solution-oriented thinking
- Enthusiastic team player and multitasking talent
- Willingness to contribute to shaping the world of tomorrow
- Very good proficiency in both German and English, both spoken and written
