SUMMARY:

The BioMarin Customer Facing Information Technology (CFIT) department seeks a highly talented and motivated CFIT Regional Lead supporting the Corporate Business Units including Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance. Located out of Dublin, and working with functional IT and CFIT Leads, this role has overall responsibility for managing the operations and delivery oversight of all regional technology efforts. In addition, this role will be the primary on-site relationship manager for business functions within EMEA, APAC, and LTAM. Lastly, this role will be responsible for partnering with IT Functional Leads to ensure all aspects of local business technology needs are met including customer engagement, IT service delivery, support, and cost management.

Reporting into the Head of Corporate IT, the CFIT Regional Lead will act as a strategic partner to each of the local corporate functions to influence and understand their business strategies/challenges and to communicate those needs to IT Functional leads. The role will be responsible for providing insights to help manage stakeholder expectations as it relates to IT Services – develop, manage, and evolve IT Scorecards & Metrics, Key Performance Indicators and SLAs. Additionally, this role will be responsible managing the implementation of a prioritized project portfolio across the regional corporate functions.

The CFIT Regional Lead will liaison with a global cross functional team that includes indirect reports, managed services providers, consultants, and temporary workers. The candidate must demonstrate strong people development skills and the ability to manage and operate in a matrixed organization. The role will work with, and lead solution architects, business analysts, solution delivery teams, support resources and project managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support IT Stakeholders across the Global Corporate Functions
  • Communicate and reenforce Business Service Level Agreements
  • Support development or and provide input on 3 Years Technology Investment Roadmap aligned to business objectives & strategies
  • Manage delivery of the Technology Project Portfolio for Corporate functions
  • Manage intake and assessment efforts to meet changing technology needs
  • Manage reporting for portfolio activities, intake, and value realization
  • Partner with Service Delivery Team including internal direct & indirect reports, managed services, contractors & consultants:
  • Project Delivery
  • Project Management
  • Business Analysts
  • Sustaining Support
  • Solution Delivery
  • Manage Escalated Support
  • Cost Management (budget to actual, accruals, etc)
  • Service Delivery Responsibilities Include
  • Supporting Business ServicesSystems SLA
  • Ensuring on-going practices support the SLAs
  • Review of SLAs and performances on quarterly basis with regional stakeholders
  • Change Management will be key in terms of ensuring the success of both the business and CFIT Functional Leads as we navigate through changing technology platforms.
  • This role will be located in Dublin, IE, United States and may require up to 10% travel
  • This role will require regular interaction with a broad range of business users and senior executive teams and will require frequent in person discussions.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5-years of experience in transformation, project delivery, or portfolio management
  • A strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able to prioritize and deliver results with a high emphasis on quality, technical rigor and detail
  • Able to integrate feedback in a professional manner and thrives in multidisciplinary teams with members with highly diverse backgrounds
  • Experience in Finance, Human Resources, or Legal operations a plus
  • Should have zeal towards delighting customers and continuous improvements
  • Foster a culture that is constantly improving quality and creating efficiencies
  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience is highly desired
  • Experience supporting and implementing Continuous Improvement effort a plus
  • Experience with SAP S4 Hana strongly desired

EDUCATION:

Minimum BS/BA or greater related to Finance/Accounting, computer science, business administration.
