Job Description
As a key position within the Finance Department, and reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will have the opportunity to join a stable position, with a long term project and collaborate in the continuous improvement of our processes in the finance area.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordination and execution of accounting activities and accounting closings, guiding the activities of our shared service centre, and with the collaboration and assistance of other members of the Finance Department.
- Follow-up of fixed assets inventory, provisions, reconciliations and transactions with group companies, among others.
- Accounting for Corporate Tax related entries, including understanding and monitoring of Deferred Tax Assets and Liabilities.
- Treasury management, including preparation of estimated cash flows and variance analysis, monitoring of petty cash and bank transfers.
- Preparation of Financial Statements and notes to the Annual Accounts, and filing with the Commercial Registry.
- Coordination of the external audit process, ensuring a correct flow of information and compliance with legal deadlines.
- Occasional participation in development projects for the continuous improvement of our processes and activities.
Experience & Further Qualifications
- Previous experience and extensive knowledge of SAP essential;
- Knowledge of Spanish (PGC) and international (IFRS) accounting regulations;
- Knowledge of Corporate Tax;
- Experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and Annual Accounts;
- Proactive attitude, able to identify opportunities for improvement and map out the plan to achieve them;
- High written and verbal level of English and Spanish;
- Strong organisational and planning skills;
- Proficient in MS Office;
- Willing to enjoy working and to create a good working environment.
