Provide a complimentary therapy services such as Reflexology or massage on the wards in RUH

To work with patients who have a range of complex health needs to help alleviate stress, pain, anxiety, nausea, fatigue and improve concentration

Roscommon University Hospital is a Model 2 Hospital within the Saolta University Health Care Group of hospitals. The Palliative Care Support Unit (PCSU) is an eight bed facility located adjacent to Roscommon University Hospital is open to patients since February 2023. The PCSU provides respite, symptom control and end of life services

What’s Required

Appropriate qualifications

Own Insurance

Membership to relevant professional body e.g National Registrar of Reflexologists Ireland (NRRI) regulations, Irish Massage Therapists Association (IMTA) & comply with qualification standards including Anatomy and Physiology.

To provide copies of certificates of qualification and evidence of up-to-date insurance.

To have a friendly, sensitive and courteous manner.
