Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Warehouse Manager (L5) to join our team at a large biological pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of supply chain and warehouse projects, ensuring the efficient and effective flow of biological pharmaceutical products throughout the organization. The individual will play a crucial role in optimizing warehouse operations, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. There are no direct reports into this role.

Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain warehouse projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control. These could include but not limited to system upgrades and implementations associated to the warehouse.

Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement within warehouse operations and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.

Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to ensure smooth operations, including staffing, equipment, and technology requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, quality and distribution, to align project objectives and ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all supply chain and warehouse processes adhere to relevant regulatory guidelines, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other applicable standards.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions in the supply chain and warehouse operations.

Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain and warehouse processes.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to supply chain and warehouse management and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Systems:

SAP, Rapid Response (Planning System), CDOCS, QMTS (Quality Trackwise System)

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent.

Minimum > 5 years' supply chain planning experience.

End to End Supply Chain Planning Experience and Knowledge.

Ability to analyse complex data and to communicate findings, knowledge share and make recommendations.

Advanced experience and capability with Excel, Word, MS Visio and MS Project.

Proactive / “Can do” mentality.

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate in multi-cultural global forums at network level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree or APICS certification.

Working knowledge of regulatory and pharmaceutical processes.

Ability to conduct effective root cause analysis.

Team player, self-starter, independent worker who takes on ownership of driving tasks / projects to completion.

Readily adapts to, embraces and manages change.
