Summary

In your role as Senior Multi-cloud Security Architect, you will be proficient in Expert/Foundational level of cloud knowledge for at least Two of the cloud provider’s (AWS, Azure and GCP). On top of that, we’ve listed some of the core skills you will need to architect on

• Security - Key management, access controls, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), Web Application Firewall (WAF), etc.}
• Open source - operating systems, underlying OSS, open source frameworks
• DevOps - Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD), rapid prototyping, etc.
• Operations and management - Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) integration, policies, chargeback, hierarchies, and more
• Network concepts and topologies - hub-n-spoke, VNET/VPCs, interconnect vs. ExpressRoute, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), load balancers, etc.
• Data repos and movement - BigQuery vs. Synapse/Redshift, Kafka vs. DataProc
• Automating deployments - JSON, Terraform, Git, Puppet, Chef, etc
• APIs - lifecycle management, proxies, integration, security
  
  

You will work closely with our Defensive Architecture Lead and our Chief Security Architect and you will support SAP Enterprise Cloud Services and develop appropriate platforms in building a self-service platform for Log-Preprocessing and Data analytics. You will report directly to ECS Chief Security Officer and you will support the CSO office, responsible for the effective and efficient security strategy, security programs, and services.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud agnostic solutions.
• Lead POC’s/POV’s with tools, products, and services to accelerate innovation.
• Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices, Security standards and policies.
• Identify, assess, and resolve cloud security requirements.
• Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
• Interact with clients, cloud providers & make recommendations based on client needs.
• Perform root cause analysis, recommend and implement tactical and strategic solutions to our Data processing, Data analytics, compliance & security solutions.
• Creating documentation to ensure all team members can perform required tasks.
• Ability to assess data sets, find the gaps and create reports on the findings.
  
  

What You Bring

• 6+ years of proven work experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• 6+ years of experience with DevOps and with git projects managements.
• 6+ years of experience with CI/CD Full lifecycle.
• 6+ years of experience developing and engineering best practices for Data engineering and Data science projects.
• 8+ years of experience with scripting in Shell, python, and java.
• Excellent terraform coding skills in one of the main CSP (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience in frontend languages HTML/CSS & Java Script/React is a huge advantage.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Systems Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
