An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Senior Specialist - Business and Technical Analysis, Digital Manufacturing Operations - Business Systems

What You Will Do

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:

  • Enable effective implementation, utilization and adoption of capabilities that drive business outcomes at site
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Business Systems in support of site processes
  • Collaborate with Digital Manufacturing Operations DMO Business Systems regional cluster and leader to create a community that will enable the effective and efficient sharing of DMO business systems best practices in delivery and adoption
  • Be a Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) business partner, and a business and technical representative providing oversight on projects
  • Provide customer support to the site for Digital products, services and applications on both new and existing systems including resolving, reporting, and escalating associated problems
  • Partner with stakeholders to produce, review or approve business and technical requirements and cost estimates, to select computerised systems meeting business/compliance/security/value requirements and develop, review, or approve project plans
  • Complete software development lifecycle documentation such as requirements specifications, security and privacy risk and gap assessments. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and other IT guidelines
  • Communicate to stakeholders any site or divisional planned changes that may affect site systems
  • Identify, evaluate & implement innovation opportunities and support site initiatives regarding continuous improvement of IT systems and departmental business processes
  • Be a point of contact and direction for DMO, project teams, business users and global teams on Data and Configuration Management, SDLC, IT Security, Asset Life Cycle Management
  • Support Site DMO Lead to deliver site Digital Programme

What Skills You Will Need

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • Degree qualification (Science, Engineering, Technical)
  • Strong ability to translate business needs to technical requirements, and to communicate Digital concepts to non-technical personnel
  • Practice in Agile Methodology and Continuous Improvement and with a Digital and Innovative mindset
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of automated systems assisting manufacturing, corporate Business systems
  • At least five years of experience in delivering and/or supporting regulated IT, automation and/or laboratory systems
  • Ability to understand business needs and ensure implementation and adoption of business systems to meet user requirements
  • Knowledge of manufacturing sites operations enabling effective and efficient decision making
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with relevant industry standards for system validation such as GAMP5
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
