Your Role

You will be responsible as part of a team for compiling regulatory returns to review stage ensuring controls and governance processes are carried out effectively. You will be expected to complete these returns to review stage in line with the control framework for these returns and contribute to ensuring methodologies and procedures are up to date for new regulations and processes.

Your Team

The Regulatory Reporting team within the External Reporting function compiles and submits liquidity, prudential and statistical returns on behalf of bank to the Central Bank of Ireland, the European Central Bank, the European Banking Authority, and the Resolution Authorities among others. This role reports into the relevant Regulatory Reporting Manager who in turn reports to the Senior Manager for Liquidity and Regulatory Reporting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Produce Liquidity, Prudential, and statistical returns on a periodic and rotational basis for the Bank.
  • Ad hoc duties/returns/projects as required.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a full suite of regulatory documentation, Procedures, Methodology and Control Framework.
  • Assist in maximisation of the use of existing and newly introduced technologies to minimise process times and fulfil the mandate of adding value to the business.
  • Operating controls and processes effectively

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to getting the job done.
  • Experience in financial services
  • Ability to work to strict timelines and within a defined control framework.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desire to learn more and develop skill sets.
  • Willingness to engage across functions to get things done.
  • Qualified accountant with Experience producing and submitting regulatory reports to the regulatory authorities.
