About the role:

  • To work collaboratively with the QHSE team to deliver functional QHSE standards across the transport portfolio
  • Promote a positive QHSE culture and demonstrate how QHSE adds value to the business
  • To provide competent guidance, and support to onsite Managers and operational teams to enable them to carry out their QHSE responsibilities.
  • Review and maintain risk assessments, method statements, site packs as required
  • Deliver QHSE training modules and briefing material as required
  • Reviewing service provision to ensure compliance with clients QHSE standards
  • Create a QHSE business partnership model between you and Operations team
  • To ensure the alignment of any sector specific QHSE plans to the business needs and sharing of best practice
  • Support the communication of important QHSE messages out to onsite team to help drive QHSE compliance
  • Complete onsite QHSE audits
  • Providing monthly reporting to relevant stakeholders

About You:

  • Relevant third level qualification in Health & Safety, Quality or Environment.
  • Knowledge of the transport sector within one or more of the Road, Rail, Airport, Sea Ports sectors
  • Enthusiastic, someone who strives for excellence.
  • Take the initiative and strives for opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize key tasks.
  • Honest, transparent, and consistent
  • Gain and hold the respect of others.
  • Have a flexible approach with a “can do” attitude.
  • Passionate about QHSE and dedicated to further reducing & eliminating risks that may face colleagues whilst at work.
  • Challenge and confront unsafe behaviours.

  • Hold relevant full driving license and willingness to travel within Ireland (vehicle will be provided)
  • Qualification and experience of PSCS and/ or PSDP (preferred but not essential)
