Overview :

Be part of the Mastercard Technology Fraud Products team developing new capabilities for Mastercard's Decision Management Platform, which serves as the core for multiple business solutions to combat fraud and validate cardholder identity. Our patented platform processes billions of transactions per day in tens of milliseconds using a multi-tiered, message-oriented approach for high performance and availability.

  • Within the Decision Management Platform, the Decision Insights (DI) group provides decisioning services for the authentication of eCommerce transactions and decision enrichment services to a broad range of internal customers in Mastercard.
  • The Lead Product Manager - Technical (PMT) position will be a key member of the DI group, that faces outwards towards our internal customer base and product teams, and as such is the voice of the DI teams.
  • The PMT will be responsible for working with the customer base to understand, capture and document their business requirements, in significant business and technical detail, and to bring those requirements back to the DI teams for further exploration and dissemination.
  • The overall DI group consists of 4 teams, each with their own PMT, and the PMT will be responsible to transferring the gathered requirements in significant detail to the teams.


The Ideal Lead PMT Candidate Will:

  • Develop product strategies and roadmaps to execute to ensure maximum penetration of market segments.
  • Manages and maintains existing product lines on an on-going basis, including partner management.
  • Conducts opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts.
  • Provides design specifications for product enhancements to Product Development.
  • Defines business and technical requirements, and manages the relationships of technical resources and the Global Technology Organization to maintain and build out platforms.
  • Monitor product performance, provide feedback, define or approve/disapprove change control processes, and manage vendor relationships
  • Coordinate with customer teams, customers and third parties to develop product strategies and possible enhancements of existing product offerings
  • Engage in idea generation, concept validation, business case development, and in some instances financial modeling and planning
  • Execute business plans which promote the value and profitability of Mastercard acceptance
  • Enhance the development and design of product-marketing strategy from product decision through product life cycle
  • Coordinate the execution of advertising, promotional, and sales programs to meet objectives
  • Demonstrate depth of knowledge of their Product and the ecosystem in which it operates (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment). Apply this knowledge to the development of winning Product strategies
  • Demonstrate awareness of Mastercard's broader Product offering and the ability to leverage Products from other business areas to augment Product capabilities
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences
  • Develop talent and provide timely feedback, coaching in the moment, and mentoring

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus
  • Analytics to drive performance and KPIs analysis
