As a Subsidiary of Porsche Informatik, Digilab Italia SRL, based in Verona, has a clear mission: to contribute to the development, implement and support the best IT solutions for the Retail Network of the Volkswagen Group Brands in the Italian market.
As part of Porsche Informatik, we are participating in a world-wide operating management consultancy, aimed at supporting the digital transformation of the Dealerships.
The Consulting Division is the link between the Customers and the Software Development Teams.
We consult our Customers (Dealerships and Importers/National Sales Companies) in managing the challenges around the topic of the "Future Retail” and accompany the Dealerships in the digital transformation journey.
Together as one Team, we analyze the business requirements in an IT solution-oriented manner, leveraging on the broad portfolio of Products and Services and execute the implementation of the identified IT solution.
TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES
- Deliver / execute various Projects (e.g., preparing Dealerships for the go-live with new Dealer Management Systems or other applications)
- Support tests and go-live migrations
- Support the End-Users in the Dealerships in all areas (Sales, After Sales, Marketing and CRM, Finance and Accounting)
- Analyze business processes and define requirements with Customers and possible other Third Parties
- Produce Project and Software Release documentation
- Contribute to the activity planning of the Development Teams
- Oversee the activity of the Development Teams
- Consult Customers and Dealer Users
- Ensure cross-functional coordination, collaboration and information sharing with the other functional local and central Teams, e.g. Development, Release Management, Consulting, Management, Support
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in project work and sub-project responsibility in previous projects
- Interest in standardized working methods accompanied by appropriate tools (Jira, Confluence etc.)
- Demonstrable project management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Automotive retail process know-how and strong willingness to further develop it
- High level of personal engagement and strong Customer orientation
- Knowledge of Volkswagen Group IT retail applications is not a “must”, but a “nice-to have”
- Very good written and spoken English skills, additional languages are welcome
- Willingness to travel
