Originally opened in the 1960s in Dundalk, The Fairways Hotel has always held a fond place in the heart of those who visited from near and far. Rebuilt from the ground up, The Fairways Hotel in Dundalk has returned with new doors since November 2019. Facilities inlude 113 Guest Bedrooms, modern Brasserie, 3 large conference rooms and a ballroom with capacity for 500 guests banquet style and 1,000 theatre style plus an internal courtyard with intimate pod dining spaces.
As a result of an internal progression move, we are delighted to invite applications for the opportunity of General Manager at the Fairways Hotel in Dundalk, part of the iNUA Collection.
The role:
Working with the iNUA Group team and reporting to the Group Director of Operations, the General Manager will have overall responsibility for the entire operation of the Fairways Hotel including Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing and Human Resources as well as P&L performance.
- Be the leader in delighting our hotel guests and work with the team to deliver the best in both guest and colleague experience.
- Be the leader in ensuring the hotel maintains the highest group standard compliance and service delivery and take responsibility to protect the hotel and company brand.
- Co-own specific sales, marketing and revenue management plans for the hotel.

The Candidate
We are inviting applications from candidates with a proven track record as a hospitality General Manager with strong experience in the corporate, family, F&B, wedding, and conference business.
- Third level qualification in Business, Hotel/Hospitality Management, or relevant field
- At least 4 years of experience as a General Manager, experience within a Group environment is desirable but not necessary
- Excellent knowledge of revenue management along with good commercial knowledge of the region
- Hands-on focus in delivering results with a great attention to detail
- Excellent Guest Experience delivery skills
- Commercially driven and ability to demonstrable aptitude for decision-making and problem-solving
