Task

Meals on Wheels Driver needed to assist with St Canice's Parish Homes Meals on Wheels service.

Volunteers will be asked to attend the Day Centre one day per week, collect meals, drop off deliveries in the local area and collect dishes from previous delivery as well as carry out a quick check-in with our clients.

Meals on Wheels operates 7 days per week and volunteers are needed between 12-1pm on one day. They will need to use their own vehicles and all deliveries will remain within a 3km radius of the Day Centre.

About Us

St Canices Parish Homes provide 20 Independent living units for those in need. We offer non nursing support services such as a daily 4 course dinner, assistance with light housekeeping, daily collection of general/ waste & recycling and weekly laundry & ironing in a safe & secure community environment. We also run a day care Centre and a meals on wheels service that services older people within the city.
