Role Overview
As a Trading Operations Manager, you will step into a dynamic role responsible for delivering operational excellence across the UK&I trading division. Managing a newly expanded CXO team, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the delivery of Operational Improvements that benefit our UKI brands and customers. Reporting to the Head of UKI Operations, you will spearhead our Ops strategy through a team of 16 Executives, ensuring efficiency and long-term success.
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
- Elevating team performance and efficiency by finding opportunities to revamp existing processes and pioneer new ones.
- Working with senior stakeholders on the transformation strategy developing Operations into a single UKI team.
- Leading a team of high-performing individuals, identifying opportunities for personal development, and instilling a growth mindset across the team.
- Engendering a culture of excellence within Ops and the wider trading department to reduce the frequency and impact of errors through constantly improving processes & tools.
- Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Technology, Quants & Analytics, Trading, Risk, Fraud and Customer Service Teams to optimize daily operations and address customer struggles across both Sportsbook & Exchange to improve our KPI’s.
- Fostering a culture of customer obsession within Trading Operations, asking ourselves ‘how does this benefit the customer’ when making decisions and progressing projects.
- Conducting regular and robust performance analysis of the Ops function, unearthing chances to improve performance while enhancing the overall customer experience and always ensuring we are measuring what matters most.
- Keeping a close eye on daily performance, ensuring the team and senior stakeholders are always updated on current operational issues and opportunities.
