Our client has reached out to us for an amazing opportunity for a senior accountant that is looking to make a move to a leadership position.

This tech company, based in the city centre, is on a fast growth trajectory and is looking for someone who wants to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and scale a small finance operations team, reporting directly into the CFO.
• Lead the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as revenue recognition, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, tax compliance, payroll and operational cash management.
• Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of management accounts & comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and consolidation of group results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and other business functions, to provide financial insights, support strategic initiatives, and optimize financial performance.
• Ongoing development and review internal controls and processes
• Budget & Forecasts. Lead the annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast process.
• Financial Modelling. Prepare financial models to support growth initiatives, cost efficiencies, investment decisions and project assessments.
• Assisting with additional analysis, reports and requests as required

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with at least 2 1 PQE in industry.
• Strong focus on controls and processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and be flexible.
• Expert knowledge of General Ledger, consolidations & month-end close processes.
• People manager who can evidence development of staff through coaching and mentoring
