The client has embarked on a significant digital transformation programme across the

dimensions of culture, organisational and operational effectiveness. This ambitious programme of work will deliver outstanding colleague and customer outcomes and help grow a balanced business model that is fit for the future financial needs of the Irish market.

To support and enable this transformation a significant and exciting opportunity has been built for a Manager in the Digital Enablement function. This role, collaborating with our partners in Group Technology and the wider business, will lead and develop teams to support the end-to-end product lifecycle of client's digital products and channels.

This role will be integral to the evolution of client's Digital Banking capability and requires strong initiative-taking leadership to drive the required outcomes. This is a cross-functional role requiring the individual to work seamlessly and collaboratively across Digital Enablement, Group Technology, Retail Banking, Operations, and the wider client business to achieve the required outcomes.

Your Team

The Digital Product Manager will work within Digital Enablement and will be responsible for leading the delivery of customer outcomes across client's digital channels. This role requires a range of skills including market and customer research, identification of key measures and outcomes, ideation and discovery, and a solid understanding of the development and evolution of digital products and capabilities.

This role has a wide remit, and the role holder will be required to lead a positive, engaged, and empowered team who complete their work to a high standard.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive product strategies and long-term vision to build outstanding digital products.
  • Support and lead user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers, developers, SMEs, and research teams from inception to launch and beyond.
  • Support and lead the innovation, ideation, and discovery of new product opportunities.
  • Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, to adopt new ways of working to embed a continuous transformational change agenda and champion agile ways of working in the delivery of incremental, guided, valuable change across the bank.
  • Ensure appropriate support models are in place, including key strategic partners as appropriate, to support the banks' digital channels (including Applications support, Production Support, 24x7 where appropriate and out of hours on-call support)
  • Working closely with defined capability teams, support the delivery of new features and incremental change to production across the portfolio.
  • Lead the initiative-taking monitoring and associated metrics of the Digital Enablement portfolio capabilities.
  • Maintain the ongoing service and cyber security integrity of the in-scope technologies.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of the Cyber Security strategy for the bank.
  • Ensure a firm understanding of the risk landscape across the in-scope processes.
  • Maintain control environment ensuring the controls are fit for purpose, aligned to internal standards and regulatory requirements, and seek to enhance and automate where possible.
  • Drive a consistent approach to Risk Management engendering a culture of willingness and continual improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience and understanding of the product delivery lifecycle including CX research, discovery and inception including practices such as human-centred design thinking, lean and agile delivery.
  • Understanding of cyber security management and its delivery within the context of digital capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with the ability to direct activities effectively during an incident with a focus on solution determination and implementation of effective and permanent solutions.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management, with effective communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience of strategy and product roadmap development and implementation.
  • Strong experience in risk management and control.
  • Effective understanding of budget planning and cost management.
  • Strong analytical, value-driven prioritisation and negotiating skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the delivery of digital solutions.
