Exciting Management Opportunity for Qualified Nurse, Monday to Friday

Our client a well establishd Homecare Provider in South Dublin is looking to recruit a Senior Nurse Client Care Manager to join its established team.

The Senior Care Manager will report to the Director of Operations. This is an exciting management opportunity for a qualified Nurse at a highly respected homecare company as it enters a new stage in its development. The Senior Care Manager will be based in our South Dublin office and will lead an experienced and highly motivated team who work together to deliver best outcomes for our Clients.

The main functions of the role are:-

Manage all aspects of Homecare Services for our South Side Clients.

Provide guidance and leadership to the small office team in all matters relating to Client Services.

Be proactive in growing the revenue of the Southside branch by managing the recruitment of Carers and the acceptance of new HSE and private Clients.

To be responsible for capacity in the region and to grow the business by working closely with DOO and Operations Manager, prioritising recruitment to ensure that we continue to retain excellent carers and maintain a competitive recruitment presence in the market.

To promote and manage the acquisition of new home care packages and ensure recruitment is focused on the priority areas at any given time.

Manage the start of new Client services from the first point of contact to establishing a quality settled service.

Carry out homecare assessments of Clients in their homes, hospital, or convalescent homes.

Communicate the benefits of our service in a professional and reassuring manner to Clients and their families/advocates.

Create and document tailored Client Care plans in line with Heritage ethos and HSE protocols and guidelines.

Liaise with fellow healthcare professionals including HSE management, local PHNs and other professionals in hospital and community settings.

Start the service for new Clients by matching and introducing Carers with the required expertise and profile.

Proactively engage with the Quality Team to maintain quality Client centered services.

Provide ongoing support for existing Clients managing medical and HSE-related matters.

Lead the Interview and recruitment processes for new Carers..

Collaborate with the Operations Manager in agreeing monthly and quarterly growth targets.

Contribute to planning and expansion of Client Services.

Essential requirements:-

Nursing degree (Bord Altranais or equivalent).

Post graduate Nursing experience minimum 3 years.

Management experience.

A strong desire to advocate for the elderly in a community setting.

The ability to multitask, to work under pressure and to use their own initiative.

Possess a confident and clear communication style and be able to influence and reassure people from all backgrounds.

Be energetic and positive with an ability to judge situations and the needs of vulnerable people. Have an ability to prioritise and problem solve with excellent attention to detail.

Must drive.

Desirable experience :-

Previous experience in Homecare/Community based Care Management a distinct advantage.

Previous specialisation in elder care advantageous.

Business development savvy and an ability to soft sell and drive strategy goals.

Have a solid knowledge of the health and social challenges facing the elderly.

HR / Recruitment Experience a Bonus But Not Essential.

The office hours are 9:00 - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Benefits :-

Salary circa €60,000 plus bonus. Paid mileage and expenses, free parking, work laptop and mobile phone.
