Canadian French Localization Translator - Freelance (Code JOFT-CND)

We are looking for a freelance Canadian French Localization Translator to join our team of linguists. You will work under the supervision of the Vendor Manager and will be responsible for translating and reviewing localization projects.

Main tasks:

• Translate and review localization projects, including software, helps, documentation and marketing texts.
• Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source.
• Perform linguistic tasks as per project instructions and other references (translation memory, style guides, glossary, etc).

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Translation, Linguistics or equivalent experience.
• Native speaker of Canadian French.
• Excellent level of English.
• Experience in localization and technical translations.
• Knowledge of CAT tools (SDL Studio and Smartling), as well as iOS and macOS operating systems.
• Problem solving and decision-making skills.
