We are currently recruiting for the role of Finance Manager in a Dublin Nursing Home.
- Detailed analysis of operational performance measurements versus target in both cost and hours worked terms.
- Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting across all profit and cost centres including cash flows and balance sheets.
- Assess, develop and implement financial controls and policies over all areas of the business and put in place any remedial actions dictated by such assessment.
- Assist the Group Financial Controller with financial reporting as required for Board meetings and provide advice to support the decision making process.
- Manage the annual audit process for all Group companies, with the approved external auditor.
- Review payroll files on a weekly basis in advance of uploading to the bank for payment.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare draft corporation tax computations.
Requirements
- Be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA,CPA) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience;
- EU citizen or Stamp 4 Visa.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people and to convert data into information, including professional presentation of information;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – a naturally enquiring approach;
- Demonstrate an ability to deliver in a fast-paced work environment and to strive for excellence.
- Possess energy and positive attitude with a desire to drive constant improvement and change;
- Be self-motivated, curious and flexible, a self-starter who works well both individually and as part of a team;
- Strong IT skills, experience with Exchequer an advantage
- Hold and maintain a clean driving licence. Will involve travel.
