Hartley People Recruitment , working with our value client, are hiring for a Finance Manager based in Kilkenny. The role will have responsibility for leading a team to ensure timely payments to key suppliers, master data management, sales invoicing and management of third-party transactions.
Responsibilities:
Manage payment process to ensure accurate and timely supplier payments
Function as key reviewer and approver of daily, weekly & monthly team outputs
Manage and mentor team members are competent and equipped to perform their roles effectively
Ensure accurate provision of information to key stakeholders
Drive process improvements to streamline process & reporting and enhance efficiencies
Develop and maintain documented procedures and controls
Monitor and analyse financial data, areas of risk, and opportunities for improvement
Key point of contact with other departments to ensure payments / statements / invoicing obligations are adhered to
Requirements:
Professional Accounting Qualification with at least 5 years PQE
Audit or risk background desirable
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, including report writing
A self-starter, with a high degree of analytical rigour with the ability to think commercially and strategically while working with detail
A strong collaborator who can challenge and influence colleagues at all levels
Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ideally experience of ERP systems, SAP
Experience in leading teams
