Responsibilities
- Contribute to the ongoing delivery of weekly, monthly, peak and year-end cash targets for the Group, maintaining debt levels within business performance and bank facility / headroom policy thresholds.
- Monitor daily cash movements, ensuring and on-track trajectory towards the achievement of projected cash receipts & payments.
- Develop an understanding of what needs to be done to deliver business targets and work across all business categories in tandem with Commercial & Operations Business Partners, plus other stakeholders as appropriate to drive the necessary focus & decisions.
- Support the week ahead cash plan in partnership with the Treasury Operations Team, with purpose to ensure appropriate funding levels for critical payment commitments.
- Participate in annual cash optimisation projects, with purpose to generate year on year improvement via working capital initiatives.
- Support the collation of the monthly 13-week cash forecast. Assist in the identification of insights with regard to potential performance issues, key dependencies and variance analysis versus prior forecast and annual business plan, with purpose to effect course changes where necessary to deliver targets.
- Provide back-up to the Treasury Operations Team as appropriate, to maintain business continuity where required.
- Support the development of working capital & interest cost analytics capability with a view to the creation of value-add insights.
- Qualified Accountant or third level degree in a relevant finance or business discipline
