We have a Staff Nurse opportunity here at the Mater Hospital in the Operating Theatre, Critical Care Directorate.

The successful candidate will help to ensure that a caring, creative environment is achieved, paying attention to the highest possible quality of nursing care. The staff nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the hospital.

Our Nurses work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team along with Health Care Assistants, Doctors, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Porters, Occupational Therapists, Radiographers, Catering Staff and Administration staff. We are the National Centre for:

• Heart and Lung Transplantation
• Extra Corporeal Life Support (ECLS)
• Spinal Injuries
• Pulmonary Hypertension
• National Isolation Unit
• Regional Ophthalmology Centre
• Bone Anchored Heard Aid Placement
• Metabolic and Rare Diseases
