Project Manager - EPR Full-time Job

My client has previously implemented Electronic Patient Records and are now turning their attention to their Patient Administration System in order to maximise the benefits of their EPR, and enable a full rollout of the system.
The new PAS will be integrated with their existing systems. A project manager is now required to manage the process which will include procurement of the PAS, business analysis and workflow mapping, testing, implementation, training, change management, data migration and post go-live support.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract (salary)
The Role
- Manage the project on a day-to-day basis
- Prepare and manage project plans and monitor progress, highlighting any emerging risks and mitigating as many as possible
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Produce reports and maintain logs
- Ensure the project is delivered on budget, on schedule and within scope without sacrificing quality
- Engage with staff to support the requirements for business case development, implementation, roll-out and optimisation of the system
- Lead, motivate and manage the project team for project duration
- Budget Management
- Ensure effective communication plan is in place
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years project management experience
- Experienced in managing and leading project teams in a complex environment, to deliver successful outcomes
- Experience in successfully project managing and delivering large scale Healthcare Solutions (e.g. EPR)
- Working knowledge of hospital clinical systems
