Your mission
- Your mission at Climeworks is to meet production forecasts, support the operations team, optimize operational efficiency, maintain quality standards, lead supervisors, monitor suppliers, and collaborate with the product team to overcome delivery risks.
- You develop production plans based on project demands and capacity, ensuring on-time delivery and consistent production cycle time.
- You will be responsible for analyzing production data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions, and identifying opportunities for automation and technological advancements.
- You effectively manage resources, evaluate supplier capacities, develop work instructions, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations for team members and suppliers.
- You establish and enforce quality control measures, implement the quality management system, monitor production processes, and conduct inspections to resolve issues and optimize processes.
- You will support design teams, track budget costs, project schedules, and liaise with other departments for effective coordination and communication.
- You will develop countermeasures for timely project completion, prepare production reports and progress updates for management review.
Your story
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- You have proven experience in steel production, preferably in a managerial role.
- You have at least 10 years of experience in production management or an expediting role.
- You possess knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001, EN 1090-2, PED, and the Machining Directive.
- You demonstrate a strong understanding of Inspection & Test Planning.
- You have experience participating in project risk assessments, lessons learned, schedule management, and change management.
- You have strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- You have profound understanding of manufacturing KPIs, action planning, and driving results.
- You bring experience and thorough knowledge in production systems, processes, and new product development.
- Demonstrated leadership in developing technical and motivated teams, with expertise in measurement techniques and inspection.
- Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and take charge in critical situations.
- Business fluency in English for effective communication and coordination. French and/or German a plus.
- Additionally, you are open to travel 60% of your work.
