Job Title: Master Data Manager

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Drogheda, Ireland

Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of our business. The Master Data Manager plays an integral role in the success of this strategy. The Master Data Manager will drive the centralisation of critical master data in our ERP. They will develop a global data governance model to document and establish data creation, standards, and maintenance. This role will evolve into driving greater standardisation of all business-critical activities across our global business.

Role Deliverables:

• Responsible for the data strategy, as an enabler of business strategy, in accordance with the global standards and policies
• Management and delivery of the data governance policies and procedures
• Responsible for an enterprise-wide data governance model that supports robust reporting and managing the business with standardised shared data
• Facilitates dialogue between different stakeholders for effective remediation of data gaps and data governance issues, i.e. principles alignment, implementations, enterprise information model maintenance
• Manages overall data team and promotes strong engagements across the business
• Advise and educate stakeholders on the role and importance of data governance, governance issues, methods and ensure relevant, including members of the data team
• Ensure data considerations are built into all strategic initiatives touching shared data
• Takes part in the start-up of new projects and business changes to support and ensure adherence to the common definitions and the data governance policy.
• Assist with data model design when considering new technology acquisitions
• Support SAP ERP system project and Data Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

• Relevant third-level education in Data Management or related
• Minimum 5-6 years of relevant work experience in a FMCG environment
• Minimum 1-2 years Management experience
• Versatile, self-motivated and results-driven
• Professional, ambitious, and dedicated, you can work independently and have a proactive attitude

In addition, but not mandatory

• Experience working with SAP ERP
• Experience working in a large Data Management Team
