Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the workplace teams within Allianz Technology Ireland day-to-day in a local and global shared services model
  • Support the Head of Infrastructure and Management Team
  • Support managing offshore teams and resources to deliver metric driven services to the branch and its customers
  • Single point of contact for Head of Infrastructure to delegate key deliveries, to own, implement and report on
  • Manage all reporting and governance on Workplace Services to the Customer and the Global Infrastructure teams
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency, reliability and service quality
  • Specifically focus on reviewing, improving and implementing core and supporting processes across all areas of Workplace
  • Measure and enhance the service to industry standard KPI’s
  • Mentor and enable training and development of team members
  • Build and foster relationships within the branch, the global shared teams and our customers

Essential Experience:

  • Significant experience as an IT Service Desk & Workplace Manager
  • Strong technical background in Service Desk, KPI and SLA driven targets, end user computing, telephony and user access management.
  • ITIL certification and experience
  • Strong Incident, Change and Problem experience
  • Strong background and experience in SDLC and Service Introduction
  • Experience of large scale Transformation programmes
  • Experience in IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud technologies would be beneficial
  • Demonstrated self-driven and results orientated individual
  • Experience with IT project management
  • Experience with IT security practices and compliance standards
  • Experience in mentoring and developing teams
