Italdesign is looking for a positive and service minded, driven and self-motivated by passion for cars, flexible and hard working person, who would be part in Infotainment Development Team.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and implementation of Infotainment System advanced features/functions;
• Ensuring that the function is aligned with the overall business strategy and goals;
• Representing the function in internal and external meetings;
• Writing Requirements and Functional Specifications;
• Interfacing with stakeholders to discuss system architecture(s) through workshops and design meetings;
• Issue tracking and defect analysis;
• Analyzing and evaluating performance to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes.
  
  
  

Requisiti:

Key Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in Linux/Android based product development;
• Knowledge of Infotainment System Architecture including hardware, software and user interfaces;
• Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall;
• Knowledge of software programming languages, such as C, C++, Python, and Java;
• Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems;
• Experience with project management tools, such as Jira;
• Familiarity with GNU/Linux and Android operating systems;
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
  
  
  

Preferential Requirements

• Knowledge of operating system concepts, such as process management, memory management, file systems and power management;
• Familiarity with automotive standard protocols, such as CAN and Ethernet;
• Knowledge of security principles and best practices for securing Linux systems;
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git;
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex systems;
• Knowledge of open source software development and licensing.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering or similar;

Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required; knowledge of German would be appreciated;
