An exciting opportunity have arisen to join our Operations Team. This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week. DSG play a pivotal role in the operation, being responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring work is batched and allocated accordingly to keep workflow maintained and process documentation in line with GDPR.
The team is broken down into DSG and Shareholder Services, though all team members are expected to work across both areas. DSG is mainly the opening, sorting, batching and scanning of mail and the delivery back into mail providers of post going out. Shareholder Services is primarily the processing of work through Scrip and the maintenance of the various registers. The team carry out a number of important tasks, several of which are regulated.
A role you will love
As part of the DSG team your roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Opening post and sorting in readiness for you to batch, scan and allocate via workflow system.
- Franking outgoing mail and dealing with couriers
- Certifying and returning legal documents in line with company procedure
- Producing and printing letter as well as ad hoc admin tasks to support the team.
- Shareholder Services tasks such as processing proxy elections, stock transfers, Dealing, stock deposits, stock withdrawals & tax form processing.
- Client Asset quarterly reviews.
You will be trained within the team by knowledgeable colleagues and upskilled across a range of tasks. Due to the nature of Operations, a high degree of cross training is required which you will be supported with.

Key Skills And Experience Required Are
- PC literate and able to navigate internal and external systems.
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel
- A collaborator with excellent communication skills
- Able to work effectively within a team and share responsibilities as required to complete tasks to a very good standard.
- Good numeracy skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Adaptable to change and able to switch between tasks at short notice.

Additional Information
The DSG team work in the office with a very limited scope for working from home.
Working hours are flexible but fixed at 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday when onsite and 9:00am-5:00pm when working from home. Due to the nature of the role, start and finish times can flexible.
