Role

Due to continued growth and opportunities to support our clients, we have opportunities at Manager level for candidates with a financial modelling background, who will join our Risk Consulting team in Dublin.

You will have a key role supporting the team with growing opportunities and delivering high quality engagements. The ideal candidate should be able to develop strong client relationships and be an expert in financial analysis and modelling of scenarios using a variety of tools and software.

The Opportunity

As a manager, the successful applicant will have responsibility for the following:

  • Leading client engagements across all industries, operating in the capacity of engagement manager, taking ownership for all aspects of engagement delivery from scoping, programme, and team selection through to delivery, quality management and budgetary control.
  • Drive client business development activities, supporting our go to market activities, demonstrating ability to generate leads and expand our opportunities in this area.
  • Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the firm, working alongside others on all technical modelling matters and industries as the team continues to grow; and
  • Building technical knowledge across the wider internal team.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate should have an excellent knowledge of Excel and experience in financial modelling and management, including knowledge of VBA;
  • Strong consulting background with proven track record dealing with clients;
  • Possess strong financial acumen, including an astute awareness of wider commercial, business, and economic issues;
  • Proven ability to successfully lead, develop and manage teams;
  • Strong team player with the ability to manage a number of concurrent projects, meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report drafting and delivering presentations;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence to effectively present and influence all levels of the business;
  • A professionally recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) would be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of Financial Services, Insurance and Asset Management sectors is a plus; and
  • The successful candidate should have at least 5 years post college experience / 2 years PQE.

  • Companies that require financial forecasts to support the raising of equity or debt finance

  • Investment banks and securitisation companies that require independent verification of reports provided to their stakeholders
  • Financial institutions and banks seeking independent verification of key customer account calculations
  • Companies that require the development of tools to meet new reporting requirements
