EHS Advisor Full-time Job

Job Details

The length of contract for this position is 6 months initially, working on site construction project in Cork

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Maintaining Health and Safety standards daily.

· Ensure that all Health and Safety safe operating procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and reviewed, updated and communicated to all employees.

· Attend Whiteboard meetings

· Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and activities taking place.

· Staff supervision

· Weekly Safety Report to be issued weekly

· Ensure all GA certs and statutory documents are up to date.

· Toolbox talks- as frequently as needed.

· Risk Assessments, Method Statements for the client view RAMS issued by sub-contractors.

· Updating of H & S documents.

Requirements

  • 5 years successful postgraduate experience in project HSE management
  • Experience working in commercial or residential construction projects would be advantageous.
  • Thorough knowledge of ISO: 45001 and ISO: 14001 standards.
  • Ability to deliver internal health and safety management courses.
  • Ability to advise on HSE issues on a day to day basis on site.
  • Ability to conduct standard accident/incident investigations.
