Description
- Fulfil all PCF 42 responsibilities in line with the Central Bank of Ireland requirements;
- Be the main Business liaison person for the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Provide synthesis, oversee production of reports & board packs
- Work with the Group to achieve strategic objectives and exemplary service delivery
- Ensure adherence to the legal, regulatory and governance frameworks as set out in the Business Plan/Programme of Activity of the Company
- Have managerial responsibility for the team of people within the Company
- Monitoring that funds are managed in line with the funds documents and the applicable regulations
- Working on and validating the relevant funds and financial statements
- Overseeing and supporting in implementing and ensuring compliance
- Steering and challenging external providers's deliverables, taking responsibility for any deliverable published / communicated internally & externally (reportings, regulatory documents etc.)
- Being engaged on risk and compliance monitoring in the portfolios. Overlooking operational and risk projects for managed funds
- Ensuring daily processes are seamless and investor experience is consistent across investment vehicles and propose improvements
- Working and agreeing on expense budgets for the funds on an annual basis
Profile
- University / Business School Degree in Finance/Economics/Management.
- Strong experience in UCITS and AIFM
- Strong knowledge of CP86 Requirements applicable to a fund management company in Ireland
- Currently or previously approved by the Central Bank of Ireland in PCF roles.
- Strong operational skills related to the content of the job. The candidate must be able to understand all key parameters (operations and risk) for alternative and long only funds in a UCITS environment. Knowledge of portfolio monitoring tools/platforms would be an additional useful skill.
- Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills in front of investors of business partners and all kind of stakeholders. Must be able to solve problems and take initiative while keeping an efficient team/group communication.
- Experienced in managing a number of people.
- Being a team player, responsible and accountable.
- Strong skills in project management
