The Osprey Hotel are currently recruiting for a Full time Assistant Spa Manager to join the team at Osprey Spa.

This is your place. The Osprey Hotel, located in Naas, Co. Kildare is just 35 minutes from Dublin City and close to all major routes. The Hotel comprises of the four-star contemporary styled 108 bedroom Osprey Hotel, Spa, Conference Centre, Business Campus, Osprey Leisure and the Herald & Devoy Restaurant.
We are delighted to announce our €1 million new conference suite which was designed by celebrity architect and star of RTE’s ‘Home of the Year’, Hugh Wallace. The ballroom has been completely revamped into an elegant and contemporary multi-functional space. This stunning room can accommodate 400 guests for a theatre style conference or up to 320 at round table for weddings and everything else in between with it’s versatile design and functionality.
Our gorgeous spa includes 6 individual treatment rooms, a couples' treatment room, light and dark relaxation rooms, nail bar, 3 pedicure stations and dedicated beauty rooms for waxing, tinting and tanning. Some of our other fantastic spa features include the rain shower, seaweed baths, dry flotation, rasul, hot tub and heated relaxation beds.

The Role
The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the spa ensuring standards and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times thus ensuring revenue is optimised. You will have an outgoing personality and the capability to work part as part of and assist in managing an active team. You must be very hard-working, have excellent organisational and administration skills, very strong attention to detail and have the ability to work on own initiative.
Duties will include:
- To ensure the delivery of a high standard of customer care and service is provided at all times in every area of the business in the Spa.
- To assist with training to ensure staff deliver the highest standard of customer service.
- To ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of the Spa area, treatment rooms and implements required to perform treatments should all reach health and safety levels.
- To update your knowledge of policy / legislation which governs the managing of a safe and hygienic Spa, as set out by the governing body for Salons and Spas.
- Stock control including the ordering of retail and salon products should be carried out on regular occasions.
- Assist in developing promotional opportunities to maximise the business potential.
- Ensuring all aspects of the Spa business is run in a cost effective, efficient manner.
- Rostering adequate levels of staff in conjunction with the manager.
- To liaise with the Spa manager regularly with regard to any updates / issues / incidents which may occur in the Spa.
The Ideal candidate will have the following;
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Take pride in their appearance and keep up to date with the spa industry
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Must hold an ITEC, CIBTAC or CIDESCO qualification and be qualified in both face and body treatments
- Deep Tissue Massage
- Voya training desirable
- Advanced skin care desirable
- Advanced Waxing desirable
This is a full time roles, considering the nature of the industry the role will involve shift patterns and weekend work associated with the position.
