The Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics service at St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) offers nutritional assessment and dietary advice to both in-patients and out-patients undergoing or recovering from cancer treatments. The department currently consists of a core staffing level of one Dietitian Manager and three Senior Dietitians.

The staff appointed to this post will be required to work in St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network working as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering a coordinated approach to client care, and delivering a dietetic service to clients receiving and recovering from radiotherapy.

The professional reporting relationship for clinical governance, professional development and clinical supervision will be to the Dietitian Manager, or in their absence, to a person nominated by the Dietitian Manager.

There is currently one Specified Purpose contract whole-time vacancy available in the Dietetics Department, St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network, Dublin. The post holder may be required to work in the other areas within the network (St Luke’s Hospital and St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Units in St James’s and Beaumont Hospitals) as the need arises.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network, Dublin from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
