Functional Title: Head of Client KYC, Ireland

Corporate Title /Grade: Vice President

Reports to: Head of Onboarding, Ireland

Outline of position

The Primary Responsibilities Of This Position Are

• The Head of Client KYC, Ireland will be responsible for the due diligence oversight of new and existing Apex clients in Ireland and other jurisdictions.
• Key tasks will include coordination of client adoptions, day to day management of the KYC team and project planning.
• The Head of Client KYC, Ireland will be expected to coordinate KYC and Onboarding teams to ensure all new launches & conversions meet Apex Group AML/CTF policies and Service Delivery teams for the ongoing regular review of existing clients.
• The Head of Client KYC, Ireland will participate in local new business meetings and provide summary updates to senior management and client services teams on integration projects. The candidate will also assist in the production of Salesforce reports and other KPIs / management reports as required.
• The Head of Client KYC, Ireland will work with the Onboarding team to develop best practices and operating models for integration to enhance the client onboarding experience.
• Facilitate the provision of key management in relation to KYC Onboarding.
• Challenge current practice, align group procedures and champion the use of technology to assist CDD Onboarding.
• Assistance with ad hoc projects as required.
  
  
  

Required Skills

• The ideal candidate must have an excellent knowledge of funds industry and will have experience working on different fund structures, domiciles (e.g. Ireland) and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Experience/knowledge of Custody/Depository and AIFM/ManCo services is an advantage.
• You should have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative.
• Project and team management skills.
• Knowledge of Salesforce an advantage.

This is a tremendous opportunity for someone with an excellent knowledge of the funds industry looking to develop their skills further. The position will involve a high level of interaction with all functional areas within the fund administration company including Onboarding and Service Delivery teams, Technology, Product Management & Sales.

Performance

The successful candidate will be expected to work on his / her own initiative to successfully onboard new fund launches and conversions and ensure a positive onboarding experience for clients. Documentary and other standards should be used wherever practical to ensure consistency and efficiency.
