Role: Business Development Manager (BDM)

Reporting to: Managing Director

Location: Hybrid -3 days per week in office (Tolka Valley Business Park in Dublin 11)

The Fruit People are market leaders in providing offices with fresh fruit, healthy snacks, dairy products, and pantry items. We work with local artisan producers and our catering partners to curate a unique food & beverage experience for our customers.

Your Mission

Your mission is clear, take ownership for the entire sales process, from inbound and outbound prospecting through to closing deals with new customers typically in tech, finance and pharmaceutical industries and in particular with start-ups…and grow with The Fruit People.

Our vision of you

·      2 years’ experience in a customer-orientated, target driven, B2B sales role.

·      Comfortable prospecting to key decision makers and identifying customer needs.

·      Great communication and negotiation skills and an active listener.

·      Ability to connect and present to key decision makers and effectively handle objections.

·      Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a great team.

A typical week

·      Prospecting & Lead Generation through cold calls, emails, Linkedin & video.

·      Qualifying inbound leads.

·      Follow up qualified leads and sample deliveries to closure.

·      Training, coaching and skill development as part of the team and in a 1:1 capacity.

·      Weekly team meetings to identify opportunities, report progress of pipeline and closed deals and share recommendations.

·      Maintain up to date high quality information on all aspects of client records in our CRM system.

What we offer

·       €40,000 annual salary with uncapped commission (OTE - €52,000 to €58,000)
