JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager

DIVISION: New Business

JOB LOCATION: Dublin

REPORTS TO: Sales Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Development Manager plays a key role in supporting the vendor sales team in account managing and lead generation activities.

AIM OF THE ROLE: To drive forward new business opportunities.

What will you be doing at Arrow Enterprise Solutions?

Duties will include but are not restricted to:


  • Account managing nominated target strategic and growth accounts
  • Maximizing opportunities with existing partners and Net New accounts
  • Calling out to 'target' customers to introduce the Arrow ECS Value proposition
  • Campaign and event led calling activity to target accounts ensuring high level of attendance of Seminars, Webinars and other Arrow events.
  • Working with Arrow colleagues to close opportunities and also 'sell to Vendors' to identify new opportunities for Arrow ECS - building relationships with vendor Channel Sales & Operation teams
  • Working with the Cloud team and assist with ArrowSphere opportunities
  • Responsibility for achievement of individual & team target goals
  • Providing first line of sales support for all focus partner queries
  • Qualifying all opportunities to ensure they meet the customers requested requirement, checking for essentials: Budget, sign off process, competition, project factors
  • Maintaining high levels of Product knowledge through on-going training and development
  • Proactive work with all Arrow ECS Vendor teams to identify both new partners and new opportunities

  • Experience of IT sales, forecasting and opportunity management
  • A driving license and availability to national travel (approximately 3 days a week)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Team player
  • Highly motivated, with a pro-active approach to their workload
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Intelligent and keen to learn new skills
  • Confident personality

Hours of Work:

The company's standard hours of work are 9.00am - 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch.
