RESPONSIBILITIES:

Function: Finance

Reporting line: Financial Controller

Location: Dublin 15 / Hybrid

Overview:

Working as part of a small focused Finance Team, the Financial Accountant will provide critical support to the Financial Controller with responsibility for Accounts Payable and the preparation and analysis of the company’s management accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the Accounts Payable function including purchase order approval, invoice processing, vendor payments and controls
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Ownership of reporting of volumes and KPIs internally and to group
  • Take ownership for the preparation of all regulatory compliance for Revenue (CT, VAT, income tax, VIES/Intrastat & RTD), CSO returns
  • Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts including preparation of the audit files, liaising with external auditors
  • Own the process for Fixed Asset accounting

Skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of SAP desirable
  • Part-Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years PQE in a similar role
  • Medium to advanced excel ability with strong analytical capability
  • Self-starter with a proven track record of process/systems improvement
  • Strong communication skills with cross-functional team experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
  • Proven track record in delivering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
