The Company

Our client is a market-leading specialist contractor in mechanical and electrical installations who are looking to hire an Accountant. As the Accountant, you will report to the CFO.

This is an exciting role for someone who is a high calibre, ambitious, qualified accountant with drive, determination and the ambition to put their stamp on matters within the organisation.

The Role

• Support the CFO and wider Finance team with day to day and month end process including preparation of Management Accounts across all group companies.
• Ensure data entered and postings made are on-time and with attention to accuracy across all key areas such as revenue, costs, FX, prepayments, and accruals.
• Assist with the analysis of monthly P&L activity including splitting of costs across companies.
• Assist with completing intercompany month end procedures.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts including prepayments, accruals and control accounts.
• Assist with external and internal audit engagements.
• Participate in various process improvements initiatives.
  

About You

• Qualified Accountant (0-3 Yrs PQE - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) .
• Experience working within a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong communicator.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong MS Skills
