Position Overview:

Our Wholesale Performance Manager is responsible for managing Canada Goose wholesale sales and the relationship with our retail partners in their territory. The right candidate will have a record of consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel while also identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

What You'll Do:

  • Roll out the retail strategy in department stores responding to different challenges as per directions adapted to the local markets,
  • Actively contribute to reach sales target and store-in-store (SIS) profitability along with a disciplined management of all store-controlled spending – supplies, labour budgets
  • Prepare sales recommendations based on weekly reporting (sales per boutique, per product category, per mix of clientele, var% vs Bdg/LE/LY, perimeter and Xrate effects)
  • Follow up KPI per SIS (UPT, AUR & Key indicators) with proposed action plans
  • Establish relationships with key corporate partners: HR, Security & Safety, Merchandising Planning, Finance, Store Operations, Experience & Education, VM, Facility & Maintenance, Logistics and IT to ensure that territory needs are met and sales and profitability are maximized.
  • Leverage strategic partnerships to ensure SIS have adequate resources to achieve and exceed performance goals. (i.e., inventory, labour, etc.)
  • Animate weekly sales and ensure that timelines are respected
  • Drive best practice using regional insights to optimise operational performance and secure a seamless shopping experience
  • React to inventory needs and merchandise flow to ensure product availability and control communication between SIS and Planning team
  • Ensure the creation of effective schedules that prioritize the Clientele journey, maximizes productivity, and manages labour spends
  • Develop/Improve CG standard operational procedures and guarantee that their execution is completed with excellence. (i.e., stockroom organization, cleanliness standards, opening and closing procedures, returns & exchanges, uniforms & grooming, CRM data collection etc.)
  • Ensure consistent and disciplined use of strategic tools – communications platform, automated scheduling tool, payroll management, learning management
  • Partner with key cross functional teams to ensure the physical store spaces are maintained at the highest level:
    • Oversees stockroom organization (rationale, processing of shipments and packing of outgoing shipments)
    • Controls ordering of store supplies such as packaging and stationary
    • Support new openings and temporary projects
